Accounts Payable Coordinator

UBEO Business Services, the premier provider of business technology products and services, is seeking to hire an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team in Chico, CA!

UBEO is a distributor/servicer of document equipment and software solutions. Primary products include Canon, Ricoh, Xerox and Konica Minolta multi-functional equipment and Kyocera printers. UBEO specializes in electronic document management software and integrations.

Reports To: Accounts Payable Supervisor
FLSA Status: Full Time/Non-Exempt

Purpose

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for various accounting and clerical tasks related to maintaining and processing accounts payable transactions.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter 300-400 invoices per week.
• Verify approval on all invoices, expense reimbursements and check requests.
• Understand expense accounts and cost centers.
• Coding vendor invoices to correct general ledger account.
• Familiarity with 3-way purchase order matching with vendor invoices.
• Assist with semi-monthly check runs.
• Update and maintain vendor profiles in ERP database.
• Assist with annual 1099 preparation.
• Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
• Address and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Work collaboratively with various departments to perform accounts payable validations.
• Special projects as assigned.
• Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.
• Maintain an open and candid working relationship with the immediate manager in discussing matters of importance.
• Adhere to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures at all times. Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

• Ability to talk on the phone and work with various computer tools and applications.
• Ability to type and compose written communication in various forms.
• Ability to lift 20+lbs on occasion

Remuneration for this role: $16.90 - $26.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages are competitive and commensurate based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
