Empower student success as a valued school psychologist for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year! This onsite, contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for learners in preschool through 12th grade. With a 37.5-hour workweek, you’ll provide crucial psychological services and conduct special education evaluations across diverse grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in School Psychology required
  • Valid approval from the Michigan Department of Education to practice as a School Psychologist
  • Strong knowledge of special education processes, evaluation, and compliance requirements
  • Exceptional collaboration skills for partnering with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
  • Adaptability and eagerness to support students across a spectrum of ages and needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct special education evaluations for students in preschool through 12th grade
  • Deliver school-based psychological services including consultation, assessment, and support plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to design interventions and monitor student progress
  • Ensure all evaluations and documentation meet state and federal timelines as well as district requirements
  • Adapt role responsibilities as needed to address evolving student and district priorities
