Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the greater Phoenixville area. You'll have the option of working with either Early Intervention or School Age populations, depending on your interest and background. Available roles include:

• Full-time Occupational Therapist (5 days per week) focusing on Early Intervention, working directly within the community to promote developmental progress in young children.
• Part-time Occupational Therapist (3 days per week) supporting School Age students within an Emotional Support program at a local educational center.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapy license in Pennsylvania
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or early childhood preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
• Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping children overcome challenges

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and deliver effective interventions for students requiring occupational therapy services
• Adhere to established treatment plans to address goals outlined in IEPs or individualized plans
• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
• Consult with teachers and parents to generalize student skills across settings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
