Machine Operator

Shift Options

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (+10% shift differential)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to support semiconductor manufacturing operations. In this role, you will operate orbital welding and tube-cutting equipment, inspect parts for quality, and work in both cleanroom and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate orbital welding machines.
• Operate tube-cutting saws and related production equipment.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and instructions.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers and other measuring tools.
• Verify quality and ensure products meet specifications.
• Follow cleanroom procedures and safety guidelines.
• Support daily production goals and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or quality inspection experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools.
• Ability to read measurements and use calipers.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.

Preferred Experience

• Semiconductor, aerospace, or precision manufacturing experience.
• Orbital welding or fabrication experience.
• Cleanroom experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $23.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
