Responsible for day-to-day card, printers and/or reader programming, light maintenance of machinery and equipment, as well as acting as the main support from the Production Leader and/or Production Supervisor. The Machine Operator III is expected to act as Production Lead.

As our Machine Operator III, you’ll support HID’s success by:

Acting as the point of contact in between production and support areas to resolve day-to-day operational issues.

Working collaboratively with peers and internal customers.

Conducting manual production operations as required.

Proactively logging and escalating potential issues to minimize safety quality delivery issues and / or operational inefficiencies.

Ensuring all Machine Operators have the right material and paperwork for them to perform their job correctly.

Ensuring Order Management process is executed correctly to achieve the daily delivery/efficiency.

Being held accountable to performance standard to ensure output positively contributes to area specific KPI’s (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).

Participating in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Performing daily 5s and PM of equipment and surrounding areas as required.

Contributing to the culture of continuous improvement by looking for and communicating opportunities to improve performance.

Understanding workload for the day and defining the shift hours based on demand.

Effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.

Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

Must have flexibility to work overtime as required (including weekends) and periodically work a different shift.

Requires the ability to learn, use and maintain specialized equipment.

Must have a minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience.

Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.

Familiarity within MS Office applications.

Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

Familiar and able to navigate in Excel.
