This contract Staff Pharmacist position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute clinical expertise in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment. Located in Galloway, NJ, this role requires an active New Jersey Pharmacist License and experience in patient-facing pharmacy settings. Certified immunizer credentials are mandatory, supporting vaccine administration responsibilities.
Schedule:
- Sunday: Every Sunday or every other Sunday
- Monday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and adherence.
- Administer vaccines and immunizations with professionalism and care.
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations to maintain efficient workflow.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, fostering a compliant and supportive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations and protocols.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey Pharmacist License in good standing.
- Certified Immunizer required.
- Proven pharmacist experience in retail or patient-facing pharmacy settings.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends with flexibility.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to support team collaboration and patient education.
