# Vice President, MediaCHIME Foundation - Ann Arbor, MI 48108## OverviewPosition TypeFull TimeEducation Level4 Year Degree## Job Description & Duties# The Vice President of Media serves as the business leader responsible for the strategy, growth, operations, and financial performance of CHIME's Digital Health Insights (DHI) media portfolio.This executive will lead the evolution of Digital Health Insights into the premier executive media platform serving healthcare technology leaders. The role is responsible for growing audience, expanding content offerings, launching new media products, driving sponsorship fulfillment, and creating sustainable revenue streams that position CHIME as the trusted source for digital health leadership.The Vice President will oversee editorial strategy, multimedia programming, audience development, product innovation, sponsored media programs, and operational execution while partnering closely with Business Development, Marketing, Membership, Education, Analytics, and Executive Leadership.Success will be measured through audience growth, engagement, revenue performance, sponsor satisfaction, product innovation, operational excellence, and market influence.# Duties and responsibilities* Provide executive leadership for Digital Health Insights (DHI), establishing strategic vision, operational priorities, and long-term growth strategy for CHIME's media business.* Develop and execute a comprehensive media strategy that positions Digital Health Insights as the leading source of trusted news, executive thought leadership, market intelligence, and digital health innovation for healthcare technology leaders.* Own the overall performance of the Digital Health Insights business, including audience growth, content strategy, revenue generation, product development, financial performance, operational excellence, and market influence.* Lead the development, execution, and continuous optimization of an integrated editorial strategy spanning written content, newsletters, podcasts, video, executive interviews, sponsored content, webinars, virtual summits, market reports, research publications, and emerging digital media channels.* Establish and manage an annual editorial calendar aligned with healthcare technology trends, CHIME strategic priorities, member interests, sponsor objectives, and major industry events.* Drive aggressive audience acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies that expand the Digital Health Insights reach across healthcare executives, technology leaders, clinicians, industry partners, and the broader digital health ecosystem.* Utilize audience insights, engagement metrics, and market intelligence to continually optimize content performance, improve user experience, identify new audience segments, and inform strategic business decisions.* Identify, evaluate, and launch new media products, research offerings, executive intelligence services, subscription opportunities, and other scalable digital products that expand CHIME's value proposition and generate new revenue streams.* Serve as the executive owner for the successful delivery of all Digital Health Insights sponsorship programs and media deliverables, including sponsored webinars, executive roundtables, virtual summits, lead generation campaigns, white papers, research reports, editorial programs, internet radio, custom content, digital advertising, and integrated marketing initiatives.* Partner closely with the Business Development team to develop innovative sponsorship opportunities, create scalable media offerings, support revenue growth, and ensure exceptional sponsor experiences while maintaining CHIME's editorial credibility and integrity.* Lead the financial management of the Digital Health Insights business, including budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, profitability, operational efficiency, and achievement of annual revenue and growth objectives.* Recruit, develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing media organization by establishing clear expectations, measurable performance objectives, accountability, and a culture centered on innovation, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.* Collaborate with executive leadership, Marketing, Membership, Education, Events, Public Policy, Analytics, and other business units to integrate Digital Health Insights into enterprise initiatives and maximize organizational impact.* Build and maintain strategic relationships with healthcare executives, industry thought leaders, media organizations, sponsors, researchers, technology companies, and other key stakeholders to strengthen CHIME's influence and expand the reach of Digital Health Insights.* Continuously evaluate emerging healthcare, media, AI, and digital publishing trends to ensure Digital Health Insights remain innovative, competitive, and responsive to the evolving needs of healthcare technology leaders.* Analyze operational performance, establish key performance indicators, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, content quality, audience engagement, sponsor satisfaction, and overall business performance.* Represent CHIME and Digital Health Insights at industry conferences, executive meetings, media engagements, advisory boards, and other external forums as a senior leader and ambassador for the organization.* Serve as a member of the CHIME Leadership Team, contributing to enterprise strategy, organizational planning, and cross-functional initiatives while performing other duties as assigned.## Qualifications* + - * + Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Digital Media, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred. + Minimum of ten (10) + years of progressive leadership experience in digital media, publishing, healthcare media, content strategy, marketing, audience development, or a related field, including at least five (5) years leading high-performing teams. + Demonstrated success leading a media business, publishing organization, digital content platform, or comparable business unit with responsibility for strategy, operations, revenue, and financial performance. + Experience developing and executing integrated content strategies across multiple channels, including editorial, newsletters, podcasts, webinars, video, research, social media, and live or virtual events. + Proven track record growing digital audiences through content strategy, audience acquisition, SEO, email marketing, social media, community engagement, and data-driven decision making. + Experience developing and launching new products, services, or revenue-generating media offerings from concept through commercialization. + Experience creating and delivering sponsor-supported programs, integrated marketing campaigns, lead generation initiatives, and custom content while maintaining editorial credibility. - Strong understanding of the healthcare technology industry, digital health ecosystem, or healthcare media landscape preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
