Supervisor, Clinical Laboratory - Cologuard Weekend PM

Abbott seeks a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor for night and weekend operations at its Madison facility. The role involves directing laboratory operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising staff, and maintaining quality standards across all testing processes.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations and staff supervision during off-shift hours
Ensure laboratory compliance with all applicable regulatory and quality standards
Evaluate competency of laboratory personnel through observation and testing assessment
Review test procedures, quality control, and proficiency testing results monthly
Manage equipment and supply needs while monitoring departmental budget

Requirements

Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and laboratory regulatory requirements
Experience supervising clinical laboratory personnel and operations
Competency in quality management program oversight and test procedure verification
Demonstrated leadership and staff management abilities
Ability to work Saturday through Monday, 6 PM to 6:30 AM shift
