Student Assistant- School of Nursing

Position Description

The School of Nursing (SON) is seeking a student enrolled in the TTU System employed to perform work between 15-19 hours per week, 8:00AM through 5:00PM, Monday through Friday, as assigned by the supervisor.

Major/Essential Functions

• General office work, including answering phone calls, scanning, and typing.
• Answer general questions about the SON (School of Nursing) programs.
• Direct callers and guests to appropriate resources as needed.
• Provide additional support to Coordinators and Coaches within the SON Student Affairs Office.
• Assist with orientation and other event set-ups.
• Work regularly with Microsoft Office and other computer programs. Running errands inside and outside the building.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing setting.
• General computer skills including Microsoft Office and other computer programs.

Pay Statement

Visa Information

TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required.
