Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Michigan Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L)
• Previous experience in a school-based OT role highly desirable

• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
• Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance with federal/state education laws

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and identify those who would benefit from OT interventions
• Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans to address fine motor skills, self-care tasks, sensory processing, and classroom participation
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and communicate results with teachers and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
• Provide consultation and training for school staff regarding OT strategies and adaptations
