This contract opportunity invites an enthusiastic, dedicated SLP to support students and collaborate with educational teams to foster communication growth and academic success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure for school-based practice
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work well within interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, for a diverse caseload
- Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and related service providers
- Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide support and resources to caregivers and staff regarding communication strategies
