Custodial Crew SupervisorSalary Range $23.32 - $28.43 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift AnyJob DescriptionSupervise and support a crew of individuals with disabilities to perform custodial services at the U.S. Border Crossings and Department of Homeland Security. Understand the needs of our custodial contracts, perform direct labor to meet those expectations, and supervise and support the crew through job coaching crew members to achieve their full potential. Assess individual crew member needs, provide training, and assist with skills-building. Perform periodic cleaning tasks such as floor care, pressure washing, windows, and additional tasks. Keep careful records of activities and progress.This position requires candidates to complete a federal background clearance and have a good credit history and responsible driving record. This is a working supervisor position, meaning both direct labor and supervision are included in the job requirements. Must have a cell phoneAble to work independently and in a team environmentAble to represent Cascade Connections in a professional manner to employers, people we serve, and other stakeholdersAble to complete the additional requirements below in the indicated time frameAdditional RequirementsValid Washington State driver's license, reliable transportation (upon hire), clean driving record, and good credit historyU.S. bank account for direct deposit (upon hire)Orientation & Safety Training and Policy & Procedures Training (first day of employment)First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (within 30 days of hire, prior to working unsupervised)Bloodborne Pathogens Training (within 30 days of employment)Preferred QualificationsExperience working with people with disabilities in an employment settingCommercial custodial experience, including floor careResponsibilitiesSupervise custodial projects and ensure completion of services as outlined in the statement of work.Maintain quality levels consistent with the standards of the custodial contracts.Coordinate the schedule and delegation of tasks for crew members.Drive company vehicles from various sites and safely transport people home following their scheduled shifts.Complete activity logs for each individual on the crew based on their personal vocational goals.Complete timesheets with crew members, ensure time tracking is accurate and on time.Communicate with the Director of Commercial Operations on a regular basis to ensure that contracts are running efficiently and effectively.Maintain precise written documentation of all support provided to those we serve.Ensure that all paperwork is completed thoroughly and submitted in a timely fashion.Provide assessments of potential applicants' vocational skills and work readiness for Cascade Connections custodial crews.Provide unique job coaching support to each individual crew member according to their employment service plan's goals.Understand the unique needs of each individual, including the nature of their disability, values, culture, family history, strengths, and weaknesses, etc.Develop communication techniques specific to each individual.Actively participate in the development of annual Employment Plans, as appropriate.Identify potential barriers/support needs for employment.Assist with social skills development, communication skills, task breakdown, personal and professional safety, informed choice, self-esteem, personal empowerment, and self-advocacy.Utilize appropriate training methods such as job analysis, task analysis, positive behavior support, and cue and prompting strategies.Develop positive working relationships with the tenants of the contracted sites.Coordinate logistics with all parties involved (individuals we serve, family members, residential services, transportation, employers, etc).Provide relief or backup for shifts, filling in when others are sick, on vacation, or the agency has an unfilled need.Attend required training as requested.Maintain confidentiality for all those we serve.Be familiar with ADA and reasonable accommodations.Provide a positive role model for interactions between individuals we serve and community members.Abide by agency policies and procedures as established by the management and approved by the Board of Directors.Adhere to the dress and appearance standards consistent with the position.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsBenefitsFederal paid vacationFederal sick leaveFederal paid holiday401k planEmployee Assistance ProgramCascade Connections health insurance (medical, dental, and vision) or the option of an hourly Health & Welfare benefit $5.09/ federal site hoursLife insuranceCascade Connections is an Equal Opportunity Employer and stands committed to Affirmative Action.
