The Field Service Engineer will be a key team member direct hire for a leading manufacturer of laser cutting and turning machinery. The Field Service Technician will travel to customer sites for commissioning, integration, and to provide problem solving solutions.The Field Service Technician will be responsible for:Supporting the sales staff in servicing company equipmentInstalling new equipment at customer sitesProviding solutions for service of equipment for customers at the customer siteCarefully and accurately documenting all service performed on the equipment as well as what service needs are to be accomplished on the equipment in the futureMaintaining excellent customer service and customer satisfactionDemonstrating applicable company software capabilities to the customerPreparing timesheets, service reports and installation forms, timely and accuratelyAccurately tracking expenses and completing expense reports in a timely mannerMaintaining a safe work environment and operate within OSHA/MIOSHA guidelinesCommunicating with other departments as necessaryAbility to work overtime as required by workload and customer necessityOther duties as assigned by managementThe Field Service Technician will be rewarded with:$30.00-$40.00 Hourly PayOvertime availableComprehensive benefits available at a great rate!MedicalDentalVision401k with matchCompany paid long and short-term disability10 paid holidaysPaid time off (15 days to start!)The Field Service Technician will excel with:Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Able to effectively use the InternetAbility to understand and use I/O structure for technical trouble shooting purposesAbility to effectively utilize electric/electronic test/measurement equipmentMust be able to effectively understand, analyze, and resolve technical mechanical or electrical issues based on measured data resultsProficient in reading and comprehending technical information as presented in equipment manuals or in electronic mediaAbility to accurately document technical data in terms of the steps taken to resolve equipment and product issuesAbility to communicate technical issues as well as the steps taken to resolve those issues with the company corporate officeProven customer service skills with a primary focus on customer relationshipsHighly organizedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work effectively with minimal supervisionResourceful; able to discern who to call for assistance based on the technical situation at handMust have excellent time management skillsEffective team player who can work with all levels of team members as well as with all different types and levels of customersMust be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipThis Company uses E-Verify to confirm identity and employment eligibility
