Hostess - The Pasta House - High Ridge

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and guest-focused individual to join our team in a welcoming front-of-house role. The ideal candidate enjoys creating positive first impressions, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent service from the moment guests arrive until they are seated.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Manage the seating process to help ensure efficient table flow.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with reservations, wait times, and general guest inquiries.
• Maintain an organized and clean host area, including menus and dining room entry.
• Communicate effectively with team members to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Provide accurate information about wait times, seating availability, and restaurant services.
• Assist with guest needs and help resolve basic concerns in a professional manner.
• Support a positive and welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stay organized and multitask in a busy environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous during high-volume shifts.
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is helpful, but not required.
