Responsibilities Bringing visions to life with innovative and functional design solutions. Space planning, selecting IKEA products and materials, and ensuring each project aligns with the brand's aesthetic and practical standards. Using tools, ladders, and working throughout the store to design and implement projects and display rooms. Planning inspiring commercial displays for the store, planning and implementing on the shop floor, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to secure a seamless shopping experience. Contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market. Staying updated on trends in home furnishing and retail experience. Qualifications Qualification in interior design. Working knowledge of design software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Excitement about home furnishings, design and how people live, and ability to generate new ideas to inspire customers. Hands‑on approach, ease working with hand tools and comfort working at heights. Ability to work autonomously, using organisational and project management skills to see projects through efficiently and effectively. Strong time‑management skills. Benefits and Compensation Start date: 26 July 2026. Salary: £27,541 per annum, based on competence and experience. Working 39 hours a week over 5 days in a 7‑day week, including occasional weekends.
