Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked national law firm seeking a 2nd to 4th year Mergers and Acquisitions Associate to join its New York NY office. This is a 100 percent transactional role focused on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions and strategic corporate transactions for a diverse client base that includes public and private companies and private equity backed platforms. The Opportunity You will support high value domestic and cross border buy side and sell side matters, including acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, spin offs, carve outs, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and tender offers. The work includes managing diligence, drafting and negotiating principal and ancillary deal documents, coordinating specialist input, and advising on corporate structuring issues through signing and closing. This position is expected to be office based five days per week in New York.
