The Secretary plays a vital role in supporting a small team by managing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills, particularly in a medical office environment, where prioritizing tasks and maintaining accurate records are essential. The Secretary will handle scheduling, communication, and document management, ensuring smooth office operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling and calendar appointments
- Perform reception duties and greet visitors
- Prepare and organize documents
- Handle incoming phone calls professionally
- Maintain accurate records and office files, including medical records
- Conduct medical billing and transcription tasks
- Support general administrative functions
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in administrative support, preferably in a medical office front desk role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and traditional office software
- Familiarity with specialized management systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Competent in data entry and scheduling
