The Secretary plays a vital role in supporting a small team by managing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills, particularly in a medical office environment, where prioritizing tasks and maintaining accurate records are essential. The Secretary will handle scheduling, communication, and document management, ensuring smooth office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling and calendar appointments
  • Perform reception duties and greet visitors
  • Prepare and organize documents
  • Handle incoming phone calls professionally
  • Maintain accurate records and office files, including medical records
  • Conduct medical billing and transcription tasks
  • Support general administrative functions

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in administrative support, preferably in a medical office front desk role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and traditional office software
  • Familiarity with specialized management systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking abilities
  • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Competent in data entry and scheduling
