Way (Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence). Purpose/Summary: Manufactures products by completing production plans, improving methods, and supervising plant staff. Duties and Responsibilities: Accomplishes production objectives by onboarding and orientation, assigning, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions and adhering to policies and procedures. Meets production operational standards by implementing production, quality, and customer service standards. Meets production financial standards by monitoring costs and implementing corrective actions. Completes production requirements by expediting work results, monitoring progress, and problem-solving. Improves workflow by eliminating stoppages, analyzing delays, and trying new methods. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing the standards of procedure and regulation compliances. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Accomplishes manufacturing and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned. Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Three years of previous experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing setting required. Previous experience in process improvement, process management, and safety management, a plus. Working knowledge of the AS400 system. Strong communication skills; written and verbal.
