Clerical Operations Assistant I
Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins & Mott, LLP in Austin TX is seeking to hire an enthusiastic full-time Clerical Operations Assistant I to perform various operational and clerical tasks to support our Operations team. This is an in-office position with a typical work schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Established in Amarillo, Texas in 1970, Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins & Mott LLP ("Perdue Brandon") is one of the oldest law firms providing collection services and related legal representation to government entities. Our clients include school districts, cities, counties, hospital districts, appraisal districts and other governmental entities. Perdue Brandon continues to grow and currently has 15 primary offices in Texas and multiple satellite locations in Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida servicing clients in nine states.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CLERICAL OPERATIONS ASSISTANT I
As a Clerical Operations Assistant I, you spend most of your day inputting various types of data into our computer systems or databases which may include alphanumeric data, numerical data, text, and other relevant information. You will also be responsible for conducting scheduled calls with clients to retrieve required data files, verify information and ensure timely submission of updates. The typical day consists of:
- Pulling Data from Various Software Sources
- Printing and Mailing Correspondence
- Notice Verification within our Systems
- Loading and Verifying Data into our Systems from various internal and external platforms.
- Researching data for Reporting
- Clerical Work
- Perform Manual Data Entry operational tasks
- Work side by side with Operations Team
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fast and accurate typing skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint)
- Additional education or training in data entry or computer-related or experience in a law office, collections environment, or tax office is a plus!
