Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Stepdown unit with an average daily census of 24 and a 4:1 staffing ratio
• Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR and manage medications through Pyxis
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to other units and campuses as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements prior to and during contract

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – pending licensure not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Stepdown or Cardiac Telemetry unit
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; approval is subject to facility needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
• Experience working in a high-acuity progressive care or stepdown environment
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication management systems
