Audiologist Educational Audiologist | Moreno Valley, California

Embark on a rewarding contract position as a school-based Audiologist serving the Riverside area. This itinerant role offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives across multiple school sites, supporting their auditory health and academic success. You'll enjoy a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, working 8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch break. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year (2nd week of June).


Key Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure in Audiology
• Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage an itinerant schedule and travel between sites as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and screenings for students
• Interpret evaluation results and collaborate with education staff to develop effective intervention strategies
• Recommend, fit, and monitor hearing assistive technology, such as FM systems and hearing aids
• Provide counseling, education, and training to students, staff, and families on auditory issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support advocacy for students' hearing needs and compliance with federal and state regulations
