Full-Time Veterinary Assistant

We're looking for an experienced Full-Time Veterinary Assistant who thrives in that kind of environment and takes pride in being an essential part of the team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Keeping accurate medical records and answering client questions.
• Running exam rooms taking histories, anticipating doctor needs, keeping appointments running on time.
• Administering medications as directed.
• Assisting with lab testing, including blood, fecal, and urine samples.
• Cleaning and sanitizing surgical tools, exam rooms, and kennels.
• Safely restraining patients during exams and procedures.
• Educating pet parents on treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
• Partnering closely with DVMs and technicians to provide top-tier patient care.

You're a Great Fit If You..

• Are an experienced Veterinary Assistant with at least 3 years of hands-on experience including but not limited to: reading labs, drawing blood, reading vitals, reacting in an emergency situation, directing room traffic.
• Love animals and bring a calm, steady presence to every situation.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and teammates.
• Stay organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Thrive under pressure and enjoy staying busy.
• Are eager to learn, grow, and contribute in a collaborative team setting.
• Value teamwork and step up to help wherever needed.
