Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Screening in North Andover, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people and belongings, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while using technology to maintain accurate records and communicate clearly with visitors and team members. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.44 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Screen employees, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and personal property in accordance with site access-control procedures and applicable policies. Verify identification, credentials, authorization, and visitor documentation before permitting access to restricted or controlled areas. Monitor entry points and screening equipment, identify prohibited or unauthorized items, and report concerns through established site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
