Helper Rate: $20 per hour

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable helper to support an 80-year-old female who recently experienced a fall resulting in a broken wrist . Following her hospitalization, she has experienced reduced mobility and currently uses a walker .

She is also beginning peritoneal dialysis , and the family is determining what additional support may be needed around her dialysis routine.

Care Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Provide support with daily routines and personal care
• Assist with safe mobility and walker use
• Provide companionship and general supervision
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
• Potentially provide support related to the client's peritoneal dialysis routine , depending on the family's care plan and caregiver qualifications

• Schedule TBD
• Hours and frequency will be determined based on the family's needs and dialysis plan.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience assisting older adults with mobility limitations and ADLs
• Patient, compassionate, and dependable
• Comfortable supporting a client who uses a walker
• Strong attention to safety and hygiene

This role is best suited for a helper who can provide  patient, hands-on support with ADLs and mobility while helping the client regain confidence and independence following her fall and hospitalization.
