About the Role
The Company is in search of a President & CEO to lead its mission of preventing and breaking the cycle of homelessness. The successful candidate will be a visionary, mission-driven leader with a strong background in nonprofit, human services, housing, or healthcare sectors. Responsibilities include advancing the organization's mission, ensuring long-term sustainability, and enhancing its role as a trusted voice in statewide conversations about homelessness and community well-being. The role demands a strategic thinker with operational discipline, strong financial stewardship, and the ability to build high-impact relationships with public and private partners. The President & CEO will also be tasked with overseeing a complex portfolio of programs, managing a substantial budget, and leading fundraising and advocacy efforts. The ideal candidate for the President & CEO position at the company will have a deep understanding of homelessness, housing instability, and related support services. High emotional intelligence, transparency, and a collaborative leadership style are essential. The role is pivotal, as the organization is at a critical juncture, moving towards a new phase of growth and expansion, guided by a strategic plan that prioritizes the evolution of core services, the development of a comprehensive asset management plan for housing, and the strengthening of collaborations and advocacy. A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree in a related field. The candidate should be prepared to lead a mission-driven staff culture and be committed to the belief that everyone deserves a safe, stable place to live.
