As our team evolves, we are adding the skill sets needed to support this shift.The Project Analyst supports New Era's global project portfolio by turning business needs into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. Based at Headquarters and reporting to the Manager, PMO, the Project Analyst is a core member of the Enterprise Project Management Office. The role works with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership across global regions to assess project value, develop business cases and ROI analyses, and prepare executive-level presentations. The Project Analyst also maintains portfolio reporting, dashboards, governance documentation, and project coordination, giving leadership the visibility needed to prioritize initiatives, optimize resources, and deliver business value.The Information Technology team at New Era Cap enables the organization’s operations by delivering reliable, secure, and innovative technology solutions. They manage enterprise systems, infrastructure, and digital tools to support day-to-day business activities and enhance productivity across teams. The team partners cross-functionally to implement technology initiatives, provide technical support, and drive continuous improvement in system performance, data security, and user experience.Responsibilities Evaluate project requests submitted through the PMO intake process by conducting ROI, cost-benefit, and business impact analyses to support investment decisionsDevelop business cases, executive presentations, and strategic recommendations for leadership reviewPrepare materials, track decisions, and follow up on action items for executive steering and portfolio prioritization forumsCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with organizational objectivesStay attuned to business direction and strategy to identify improvement opportunities and initiatives that advance technology solutions and increase business value for New EraCreate and maintain executive dashboards, KPI reports, and data visualizations that provide actionable insight into project and portfolio performanceCoordinate project timelines, meetings, deliverables, and stakeholder communications across multiple business functions and global regionsMaintain project documentation and governance artifacts, including charters, RACI matrices, RAID logs, decision logs, and meeting action items, in line with PMO standardsMonitor project risks, dependencies, and issues, and escalate them to the Manager, PMO and project leads as neededSupport portfolio planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and capacity planningEnsure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of project data, reporting, and documentation across all active initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve PMO processes, templates, and reporting, including through automation and AI-enabled toolsAct as a champion of change in New Era's digital transformation, elevating peers and colleagues through example and collaborationKeep all sensitive matters confidentialPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of project management, business analysis, governance frameworks, and strategic planning, with the ability to apply Agile methodologies in a cross-functional, global environmentSkilled at evaluating business initiatives through ROI analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and data-driven insightsStrong analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to develop dashboards, reports, KPI metrics, and data visualizations that support decision-makingEffective communicator who can distill complex information into clear, executive-ready recommendations and presentations and build trusted relationships with stakeholdersWell organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, timelines, and deliverables while identifying risks, dependencies, and process improvement opportunitiesAble to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environmentProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; additional experience in lieu of degree may be consideredThree (3) to Five (5) years of experience supporting project management, business analysis, or strategic initiatives using formal methodologies such as PMI, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or Lean.Experience working directly with senior management and key stakeholdersExperience developing and maintaining project governance artifacts, including charters, RACI matrices, RAID logs, status reporting, and risk and issue trackingExperience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, or Confluence, and analytics and visualization platforms such as Power BI or TableauFamiliarity with AI productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to streamline reporting, documentation, and analysisConsumer products or apparel industry experience preferredCAPM, PMP, CBAP, or similar certification a plusTravel RequirementThe location for this position is 100% on-site in Buffalo, NY10% to 20%; domestic and/or globalThe salary range for this posted position is $75,000 - $95,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York.
