Job Description As a Security Officer Logistics Site in West Palm Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, screen people and/or items, and support smooth daily operations through strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible, conduct routine observations, and help to deter security‑related incidents while representing a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time: Tue 03:00 AM - 11:00 AM Wed 03:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thur 03:00 AM - 11:00 AM Fri 03:00 AM - 11:00 AM Sat 03:00 AM - 11:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Screen individuals, packages, and/or select items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established security‑related procedures. Respond to incidents, irregular activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations through proper communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or conditions that may require a security‑related response. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Guard card is required. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
