Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver intensive counseling and psychotherapy services to clients, employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address their unique needs.

• Conduct thorough mental status examinations to identify changes in clients’ mental health, documenting observations and recommendations effectively.

• Maintain detailed, clear, and organized case notes, treatment plans, and progress reports to ensure continuity of care and compliance with best practices.

• Utilize de-escalation techniques and maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations, guiding clients towards solutions and emotional stability.

• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, case managers, and medical providers to coordinate a comprehensive approach to each client’s treatment.

• Facilitate therapeutic interventions in both individual and group sessions, adapting your approach based on specific client needs and dynamics.

Your primary focus will be on clients in a detox setting, addressing a range of issues including addiction, trauma, anxiety disorders, and severe mental illness. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New Jersey, with the ability to practice independently.
