Estimator Position Details VVG is looking for an Estimator to join our team for the following hours: Monday-Friday between 7:00am-3:30pm! What You’ll Do In the role of Estimator, you will primarily be responsible for writing 90% of the estimates, supervising the day-to-day operations of the Service Department, scheduling the flow of work in the shop, managing body shop technicians, visiting customers, providing estimates for customers, and inspecting work done to ensure quality. Duties / Responsibilities Provides 90% of all estimates to customers Opens and closes repair orders Generates purchase orders Provides customer service for department Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations Develops and communicates the company’s values, vision and mission Education and Experience Proficient in computer skills is required Automotive technician experience Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment Self‑motivated and self‑starter Positive attitude Excellent organizational skills Sets goals and priorities Compensation Base Pay: $24‑$28/hour (depending on experience and qualifications) Plus Commission Plan Full Time position Benefits Fantastic Culture 401k + match Health, Dental & Vision Insurance + HSA & FSA Employer paid Life Insurance Paid Vacation Days Sick Leave Company perks such as employee discounts, company events and training programs Excellent Training and Career Advancement Opportunities Physical Requirements Prolonged periods standing Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
