We are looking for passionate, skilled professionals to join our team on a dynamic 12-hour night shift at 19 James Medical Surgical Oncology unit. What You'll Do:
As a MS/Tele Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring patients with chemotherapy and malignancies, managing central lines and arterial lines, and providing comprehensive symptom management. You will play a vital role in infection prevention, patient safety, and coordinating care for patients with various comorbidities. Your expertise will support diagnostic procedures and enhance patient recovery.


Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
• Current BCLS certification
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and IV therapy
• Ability to access ports and manage central and PICC lines
• Experience with blood product administration and chest tube management
• Excellent critical thinking and multitasking skills
• EPIC electronic medical record experience
• Flexibility to float within units of similar acuity

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience with GE telemetry systems, bladder scanners, Stryker beds, and Alaris pumps
• Knowledge of high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and ABG interpretation

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Nursing Bachelor's Degree (BSN) or higher preferred
• Oncology experience is helpful but not required; training provided
• Past travel or agency experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Certification in BCLS
• Ability to work rotating days and nights; shift schedule reviewed quarterly
• Willingness to float within units of equivalent or lower patient acuity
