Qualifications & Preferred Background:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a K-12 school environment prioritized
• Familiarity with Lifeskills, Autism/SAILS, Behavior (BSC), or High-Incidence classroom populations is beneficial
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow teacher direction while contributing positively to classroom culture
• Flexibility to adapt to various grade levels and support needs
• Completion of relevant education requirements or certifications as applicable

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with academic, behavioral, and social needs under teacher supervision
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
• Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers and staff on classroom activities and interventions
• Document and report student progress and observations
• Promote positive student engagement and independence
