Job Title Registered Nurse – Operating Room Location Charleston, SC Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM) | On-call required: up to 2 weekend call shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) per 4-week scheduling period | Holiday work required Key Responsibilities Perform both scrub and circulator roles across a wide range of surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care within a high-volume, fast-paced Level I Trauma Center environment Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation Float within scope to meet unit needs, including between like units or sister facilities as required Participate in on-call shifts and holiday coverage per scheduling requirements Adhere to emergency response protocols, including potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November) Required Qualifications Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start) Current BLS certification Radiation badge compliance (badge provided) Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers considered Experience in a Level I Trauma Center setting Preferred Experience / Skills Scrub experience strongly preferred Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic teaching facility Why Join Us Join a dynamic, nurse-driven OR department within a Magnet-designated, Level I academic trauma center featuring 21 OR suites and cutting-edge surgical technology across all major specialties Work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team in one of the region's most comprehensive and innovative surgical environments Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 775166.
