Senior Accountant Location: Greenwich, CT Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Compensation: $80-90K About the Opportunity Our client, a respected organization in the nonprofit/education sector , is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their team in Greenwich, CT. Key Responsibilities Process and manage accounts payable transactions using Ramp Enter and maintain cash receipts transactions in Blackbaud Financial Edge Prepare and post recurring journal entries Support general ledger maintenance and month-end accounting activities Assist with account reconciliations and financial record accuracy Maintain organized accounting documentation and records Provide general accounting and administrative support to the finance team Qualifications 5+ years of accounting, accounts payable, or bookkeeping experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Workspace Comfortable learning and navigating accounting systems and technology platforms Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge Experience with Veracross or other school management databases Prior experience working within a nonprofit, education, or mission-driven organization Why Apply?
