A well-established litigation law firm specializing in insurance defense and transportation litigation is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join its San Diego office. This role will support the firm's California practice while also assisting attorneys and legal professionals in other office locations. Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals across multiple offices
• Prepare, revise, format, and proofread legal correspondence, pleadings, and other litigation documents
• Organize and maintain electronic and paper case files
• Coordinate document production, court filings, service, and case materials
• Manage calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, and other scheduling
• Track, code, and route litigation-related expenses
• Assist with discovery, deposition, and trial preparation
• Coordinate mail, service, and other case-related logistics
• Manage multiple assignments and priorities while meeting critical deadlines

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary
• California litigation experience strongly preferred
• Insurance defense experience is a plus
• Knowledge of California court procedures, filing requirements, and litigation deadlines preferred
• Strong organizational, proofreading, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy litigation practice
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
