We are thrilled to announce the establishment of our orthopedic surgery division, and we are on the lookout for a fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with a specialization in Sports Medicine, particularly in Shoulder Arthroscopy. This is a remarkable chance to be one of the initial surgeons in our newly formed hospital-employed practice and play a pivotal role in developing a top-tier orthopedic service line.

Position Overview

• Type: Full-time Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine / Shoulder Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy
• Locations: Surgeries conducted at St. Peters Hospital in Albany, NY, and Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY
• Referral Network: Strong pipeline through a comprehensive primary care network
• Support: Backing from experienced inpatient and outpatient APP teams in Orthopedic Surgery

Qualifications

• Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Sports Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• 5-10 years of post-training experience required
• Strong clinical and surgical expertise in shoulder arthroscopy
• Dedication to patient-centered, team-based care

Compensation Package

Our organization offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• Salary Guarantee: $725,000 - $800,000 for experienced surgeons, with the posted range reflecting the starting total compensation. This does not include productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other cash compensation applicable to the role.
• Starting Bonus: $25,000
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $25,000
