The Special Projects Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and delivery of programming and projects for the network and digital properties reporting to the NewsNation’s President of Programming & Specials. The ideal candidate has newsroom, or production experience, is comfortable in a dynamic fast-paced and high-volume environment. This person will work with network senior leadership and coordinate with editorial leaders across the network’s different offices.**Duties & Responsibilities:**· Assist in planning and coordinating creative projects· Schedule and organize meetings, including preparing agendas, capturing meeting notes, and tracking follow-up actions· Provide administrative and operational support to network leadership and editorial leaders· Serve as a liaison and resource for different departments· Performs other duties as assigned**Requirements & Skills:**· Bachelor’s degree in journalism, or a related field· Experience providing executive-level support and or project management· Strong sense of discretion and professionalism· Be a self-starter able to work individually or with teams· Familiarity with news programming and content· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written· Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with teams across multiple locations· Ability to adapt to change, meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously· Flexibility to work different shifts**Salary Range**: $75,000 - $85,000 (commensurate with experience)Benefits: Our comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees includes, but not limited to, medical (with multiple plan options), dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) with company matching contributions, Paid Parental leave, life insurance and more.
