Compliance Manager

Join a well-established manufacturer of commercial specialty equipment in Denver, Colorado, as our next Compliance & Lab Manager. This impactful role offers you the opportunity to lead laboratory testing activities, support product certifications, and ensure that our innovative equipment meets the highest standards of safety, sanitation, energy efficiency, and quality. As a key leader within our organization, you'll oversee daily laboratory operations—collaborating closely with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Certification bodies—to establish testing criteria, investigate performance issues, and maintain ongoing compliance with industry standards such as UL, NSF, ETL, AHRI, ASHRAE, DOE, and OSHA. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement in product reliability, safety, and efficiency, making a tangible difference in the industry. Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field Minimum of 5 years' experience in a laboratory, product-testing, compliance, or engineering environment Proven experience managing or leading laboratory testing activities Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, commercial appliances, or related products Familiarity with product safety and sanitation testing standards Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and specifications Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills Experience working within a manufacturing environment Nice to Have Skills: Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software Knowledge of UL, NSF, ETL, AHRI, ASHRAE, DOE, OSHA standards Root cause analysis and corrective action development skills Exposure to calibration, maintenance, and validation of laboratory equipment Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field At least five years of hands-on experience in lab or compliance roles within manufacturing settings Prior experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or commercial foodservice equipment industries Other Requirements: Ability to coordinate testing schedules aligned with product development timelines Willingness to partner with external certification agencies and conduct internal audits Strong leadership capabilities to train and guide laboratory personnel Commitment to maintaining regulatory adherence and audit readiness #J-18808-Ljbffr Frontline Source Group - Nationwide Staffing & Executive Search
