Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a QC Scientist I to join our Quality Control laboratory team and support analytical testing that ensures product quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Perform complex analytical testing of raw materials and production samples using approved and validated methods. Execute analytical methods and support method development, validation, and transfer activities. Perform classical wet chemistry testing, including pH, buffer analysis, titration, and Karl Fischer titration . Operate analytical instrumentation, including auto-titrators, FTIR, UV-Vis, and fluorescence spectrometers . Perform chromatographic analysis using GC, HPLC, and LC-MS . Investigate and document out-of-specification (OOS) results and quality issues. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical laboratory instruments. Document analytical results in accordance with GLP, data integrity, and good documentation practices . Utilize LIMS and quality management systems for laboratory and quality activities. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 6S housekeeping standards . Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate laboratory documentation. Follow all EHS requirements, COSHH procedures, risk assessments, and PPE requirements . Collaborate with QC, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field with 2+ years of experience in a GLP-regulated laboratory environment, or an advanced degree. Strong analytical chemistry background with hands‑on laboratory testing experience. Experience with wet chemistry, titration, pH, buffer analysis, and Karl Fischer . Hands‑on experience with FTIR, UV-Vis, and fluorescence spectroscopy . Strong knowledge of GLP and quality control requirements . Experience with LIMS and quality management systems . Excellent documentation, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. Willingness to follow mandatory PPE requirements, including lab coat, safety glasses, and gloves. Preferred Qualifications Experience with GC, HPLC, and LC-MS . Experience with analytical method validation and method transfer . Knowledge of data integrity requirements and good documentation practices. Experience investigating OOS results and authoring technical reports. #J-18808-Ljbffr
