Salesforce Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced reports and dashboards using Salesforce and Power BI
- Leverage Apsona (Salesforce add-on) to enhance reporting capabilities, including complex queries, cross-object reporting, and data exports
- Partner with stakeholders across departments (Admissions, Advancement, Student Services, etc.) to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Build data models and ensure data integrity across systems
- Optimize existing reports for performance, usability, and accuracy
- Deliver insights that support enrollment strategy, fundraising efforts, and operational efficiency
- Create documentation and provide guidance to end users on reporting tools and best practices
- Support data governance and reporting standards across the organization
- 5+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or BI development
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization best practices)
- Experience working with Apsona or similar Salesforce reporting tools is strongly preferred
- Ability to work with large datasets and complex data structures
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in higher education or similar data environments
- Familiarity with student information systems (SIS) or CRM platforms used in academia
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder)
- Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks
