Job Description
We're hiring the first sales leader at Subsurface Technologies.
Not a rep. Not a manager behind a desk. The person who carries a bag, builds the playbook, and then hires the team that runs it.
STI rehabilitates municipal water wells — the kind of work a public works director doesn't buy twice from someone they don't trust. Long cycles. Budget seasons. Consulting engineers who can stall a deal for a quarter. If you've sold into municipal water supply, waterworks, or the well industry, you already know exactly what I just described.
? What year one looks like
✅ A personal book of signed municipal water-supply business that hits your number
✅ A pipeline the President can forecast against with confidence
✅ The first rep hired, ramped, and carrying quota — with a scorecard and coaching cadence behind them
✅ A consultative playbook documented and proven, ready to hand to the next rep and the next region
✅ A first territory established as the growth nucleus, with the next expansion mapped
? What we're actually looking for
Relationships and selling ability in municipal water. Utilities, public works, water authorities — in your region or nationally. Technical depth is supported by our field and science leaders. The network and the instincts are yours to bring.
? Based anywhere in the U.S. ✈️ Travel to the territory, customer sites, plants, and well fields.
