HR Assistant

Location: Lackawanna, NY Pay Rate: $22.00–$25.00/hour (depending on experience) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8: 00 AM–4: 30 PM (some schedule flexibility available) Length of Assignment: 6+ month contract About the Opportunity Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant to support their Human Resources team with employee onboarding, new hire orientation, training, and day-to-day administrative functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable with technology, and wants to build or expand their career in Human Resources. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and organized onboarding experience for new employees. Responsibilities Assist with the onboarding process for new employees Prepare tablets and other technology used for safety training and electronic onboarding Provide basic technical assistance to employees using onboarding and training systems Guide new hires through electronic paperwork and ensure required documents are completed accurately Monitor onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding paperwork Maintain accurate employee records and confidential HR files Assist with scheduling new hire orientations and training sessions Answer employee questions and direct them to the appropriate HR team member Provide general administrative and clerical support to the HR department Perform data entry and maintain accurate documentation Handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion What We Offer $22.00–$25.00/hour, depending on experience Monday–Friday schedule Some schedule flexibility Full-time, stable employment opportunity Opportunity to gain valuable HR experience Collaborative, team-oriented environmentOpportunities for professional growth #J-18808-Ljbffr Selective Staffing Solutions
