Job Description

A Restaurant Line Cook is essential to delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing and cooking meals efficiently and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Working as part of a team of more than 10 kitchen staff, the line cook handles multiple cooking stations such as ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, and prep areas, typically during late night and dinner shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and meals in accordance with recipes and quality standards
• Cook food using ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers effectively and safely
• Manage inventory to ensure availability of necessary ingredients and supplies
• Maintain consistent quality control throughout food preparation and cooking
• Ensure sanitation and cleanliness of workstations in compliance with health regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in restaurant cooking
• Strong knife skills and food safety knowledge
• Effective time management and ability to multi-task under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Thorough understanding of sanitation procedures
• Strong attention to detail to maintain consistent food quality
