Skilled Carpenter
North Central Construction
Join the Northcentral Construction team as a Skilled Carpenter . Our carpenters work with a variety of materials including wood, structural steel, light gauge steel, plastics, and composite. Job Overview We need someone who can read and interpret blueprints, estimate materials, and coordinate and schedule work with other trades. Comfortable with basic carpenter tools, optical equipment, lasers, mechanical tools, rigging, and welding. Responsibilities Rough framing, exterior and interior finishing Installation of hardware, drywall, insulation, and other interior systems Ensure compliance with building codes and established work practices Work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as standing, climbing, kneeling, and squatting Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Class D driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to write routine reports and simple correspondence One year of previous experience is a plus Benefits Health, Dental, Vision, Life coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) 401(k) with Employer Match Paid Vacation Continuing Education Reimbursement Family Outings Other Information Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industry: Construction Referrals increase your chances of interviewing by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
