Staffing Coordinator Opportunity

River Oaks Hospital (a UHS affiliated hospital), located in metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, is a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents and children. Since 1970, River Oaks has established a tradition of excellence in the treatment of acute psychiatric illness, dual diagnosis, alcohol and drug detoxification, trauma-based disorders, compulsive behaviors, and eating disorders. River Oaks has provided quality treatment to service individuals suffering from mental illness, and/or addictive disorders. Situated on a 14-acre campus, services are available at all levels of care (inpatient, day or partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient).

The Staffing Coordinator will provide effective daily staffing for the nursing department and review assignments with nursing management. The Staffing Coordinator will assist with processing PTO requests and ensuring coverage for employees taking PTO to include processing calls-ins/absences to ensures coverage. Assists in correcting/editing staff time in UKG system.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a hospital with staffing/scheduling responsibilities for all shifts for clinical and nursing personnel; will consider business office and/or human resources experience, preferably in a health care setting.
• Additional Requirements: May be required to work occasional overtime, weekends and/or flexible hours.
