We strive to provide customer service that goes above and beyond the standard.The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services.Role + ResponsibilitiesObtain proper approvals of invoices prior to processing.Enter vendor invoices accurately and timely into accounting system.Prepare, review and process weekly payment run for approved vendor invoicesProfessionally communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and address payment inquiriesReview and reconcileAssess and apply use tax on purchases in compliance with applicable regulations.Other duties may beQualificationsEducation: high school diploma or equivalent (GED).Experience: good knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting experience in addition to computer skills and good numericalHigh degree of accuracy and has excellent data entry and oral communicationMust be able to work well with others and meetPreferred SkillsProblem Solving – the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely mannerPlanning/organizing – the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses timeLeadership ResponsibilitiesThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.Travel RequirementsThis position does not require travel.At Robinson, we value professionalism, expertise, and a dedication to craftsmanship.
