Research Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Your job is more than a job. General Duties Provides clinical services according to radiology practice standards to ensure optimal department functions. Collection, processing, maintenance, and shipping of radioactive and non‑radioactive research biological specimens. Maintains inventory of research hot lab equipment and shared supplies. Ensures compliance with DEQ Nuclear Standards, including hot lab standards. In coordination with the Theranostics coordinator, completes research phantoms and other testing for PET/CT system as relates to research clinical trials. Works in conjunction with the Theranostics coordinator and Clinical Research Coordinators to support research PET/CT studies. Theranostics support staff for research patients. Licenses and Certifications ARRT (N) or NMTCB LSRTBE Nuclear BLS ARRT (R) or (CT) preferred LSRTBE Radiology or LSRTBE Fusion preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Competence in venipuncture and nuclear medicine therapies. Established interpersonal skills combined with the ability to be highly motivated and work independently. Well organized and able to maintain accurate and complete research and clinical records. Attention to detail. Ability to be a team player. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Reporting Relationships Does this position formally supervise employees?
