Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant manages accounting and reporting for distributed solar and storage entities, focusing on partnership structures and project-level accounting within a multi-entity, project-finance environment. The role supports financial reporting, audits, and partner deliverables, and is ideal for candidates pursuing CPA or Chartered Accountant credentials. Key Responsibilities: Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for partnership entities Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, intercompany transactions, and eliminations Reconcile balance sheets and investigate variances Support GAAP/IFRS financial statement preparation and reporting packages Manage partnership accounting, including allocations, distributions, and capital activity Track project-level costs, capitalization, and operating results Collaborate with Asset Management to reflect accurate project economics Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors Respond to audit inquiries and support year-end audits Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances Drive process improvements and automation initiatives Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Asset Management teams on cash forecasting and project analysis Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Actively pursuing CPA or Chartered Accountant (ACCA/CA) qualification 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience Strong foundation in general ledger and financial reporting Experience supporting external audits Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (SAP or similar ERP) Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or project-based industries Exposure to partnership accounting or complex entity structures Experience with multi-entity environments and consolidations Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Pursuing CPA/CA and have 3-6 years accounting experience.
