Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Shift: Four 10 hr days (0700-1730) with rotating day off each week. Will participate in fair rotation of Saturday coverage, with additional day off during week, as well as holiday rotation coverage for pre/post holiday shifts. Unplanned absences are subject to being made up on different day same week, as applicable and at managers discretion. Patient age group: Adults, Geriatrics BLS required RDCS-Adult preferred EPIC charting experience preferred.

Our fully IAC-accredited complex inpt/outpt echocardiography lab supports advanced protocols and pathologies for a large academic medical campus, and requires minimum of 5 yrs experience, preferably including inpt setting. RDCS credential STRONGLY PREFERRED, but will consider RCS with strong experience. High daily volume demands require critical thinking, strong time management, and physical endurance. Agency staff will not participate in stress testing or TEE coverage.

Work setting experience preferred: outpatient, inpatient, ER, Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital General Skills Experience required: PACS General Skills Experience preferred: Portables, Biopsies Other Skills required: GE, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, M-Mode Other Skills preferred: Vascular-Arterial, Phillips, 3/D Echo, RIT/RVOT, LVAD, ECMO turn down, Congenital.
