Press Brake Operator

Location: Wyoming, MI
Shift: 2nd Shift
Pay: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour

Job Summary
Are you a skilled and detail-oriented individual looking to take the next step in your manufacturing career? We are seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our team in Wyoming. In this role, you’ll help bend, form, and shape sheet metal components with precision to support our production goals.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Press Brake Operator, your core responsibilities will include:

Machine Setup & Operation: Configure and operate press brake machinery, selecting the correct tooling, dies, and adjusting machine settings as needed.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate part production.
Quality Control: Inspect finished parts to verify they meet required specifications and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality.
Machine Adjustments: Monitor machine performance and adjust settings during operation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Maintenance & Cleanliness: Perform routine preventative maintenance, calibrations, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Safety Compliance: Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures to ensure a safe workplace.

Equipment
Our client’s facility utilizes Trumpf TruLaser 5030 machines , including one 5000-watt and one 8000-watt unit. Familiarity with this equipment is highly preferred .

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

3 to 5 years of experience operating manual or CNC press brake machinery
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Strong arithmetic and measurement skills
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift materials throughout the shift

Skills:

Strong attention to detail to ensure precision and quality
Problem-solving abilities to adjust machine settings and troubleshoot issues
Team player mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively
Basic mechanical understanding for machine care and maintenance
