Exciting Opportunity for a Post-Partum RN! Job Description:
- Shift: 12H Days
- Schedule: 4 Weekend shifts + Holidays as needed
- First to float, potential to float to sister facility Unit Highlights:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
- Initial clinical profile review followed by manager interview
- Pass a dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts max) prior to starting
- Successful completion of a simulation lab on day 1 of orientation
- Unit: Post-Partum
- Total Beds: 28
- Certification Requirements:
- BLS
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Patient Ratios:
- 3 Couplets: 1 Nurse Unit Features:
- Charge Nurse available
- No Nurse Aides on staff
- EMR: Cerner
- Common Diagnoses:
- Pre-Eclampsia
- Diabetes
- Hypertension
- Stable Post-Hemorrhage
- Both vaginal and C/S delivered patients Support Services:
- Hospitalist & Intensivist in-house
- OB Hospitalist available 24/7
- IV & RT Team available 24/7
- Pharmacy services available 24/7 Shift Details:
- Day shifts: 0700 - 1930
- Night shifts: 1900 - 0730
- Floating potential required
- 3 shifts of floor-specific orientation Additional Information:
- Cancellation Policy: Up to 4 shifts may be canceled during a 13-week assignment
